Charlottetown Accord
Definition of Charlottetown Accord by Rand Dyck and Christopher Cochrane (in their book “Canadian Politics: Critical Approaches”) in the context of political science in Canada: The constitutional agreement of 1992 that responded to Quebec's demands for distinct society status, Aboriginal demands for self-government, and the West's demand for a Triple-E Senate that was approved by federal, provincial, territorial, and Aboriginal leaders, but then turned down in a national referendum.
