Concept of Convention
A definition of Convention may be the following: Conventions are rules of the constitution that are not enforced by the law courts. Conventions prescribe the way in which legal powers shall be exercised (Constitutional Law of Canada, Peter W. Hogg, s. 1.10(a)).
