Per-vote Subsidy
Definition of Per-vote Subsidy by Rand Dyck and Christopher Cochrane (in their book “Canadian Politics: Critical Approaches”) in the context of political science in Canada: An annual payment made to a political party between 2004 and 2015 of approximately $2 for each vote received in the preceding federal election, designed to compensate for the loss of corporate and union contributions.
